My first real client was Volcano Theatre. Myself and a few other students pitched to design their bilingual (English/Welsh) 25th Anniversary "document" that they wanted ready for print in two weeks time. I ended up winning the pitch with three spreads that made it into the final book. I teamed up with my partner-in-design/crime James Barker to finish it all by the deadline and it's still one of the most fun projects I've completed to date.
The team at Volcano were absolutely brilliant and pretty much gave us free reign to do as we wanted. They also gave us 50 copies each, which was lovely!
