Before our brief was EVERYONE'S INVITED! UHD! it was completely open. So I went for something fairly "out there" for Sky News; a digital-first, tongue-in-cheek, iridescent-punk vibe. Smother your shots of Windsor Castle in mad filters, take a selfie and insert yourself into the wedding, create your own meme. That sort of thing.
Needless to say, this didn't stand a chance in hell of making it past editorial, but you've got to try. They went with THIS INSTEAD.
